Assistant Principal for Academics Named

Walsh Jesuit High School has named Megan Regan as the new Assistant Principal for Academics. Regan has served as the Assistant Principal at Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland since 2016.

“We are delighted to welcome Megan to the Walsh Jesuit family,” said Walsh Jesuit Principal Sean Lynch `94. “Her experience, knowledge of varied aspects of the role, attention to detail, and history of effective leadership through collaboration make her uniquely qualified for the position of Assistant Principal for Academics at Walsh Jesuit. Her faith life, willingness to listen, openness, and service to others demonstrate why she is a perfect fit for our community. We could not be more excited for her to join us.”

"I am thrilled to be joining Walsh Jesuit as the Assistant Principal for Academics,” said Regan. “Being part of a community rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service to others is a privilege and honor. I look forward to partnering with students, teachers, and all community members to further the mission both academic and Jesuit."

Regan has a Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University and a Master in Education Administration from Kent State University. At Saint Joseph Academy, she oversaw the academic affairs of the school and was responsible for the safety, discipline, and general welfare of 700 high school students. This year, Regan worked with faculty, parents, and students to develop Saint Joseph Academy’s response to the COVID-19 Pandemic with a focus on planning for and implementing continuity of instruction under various learning models and situations.

Prior to Saint Joseph Academy, Regan taught social studies, reading, and religion for nine years at Seton Catholic School in Hudson. Faith is an important part of her life and she has been involved in the high school youth ministry at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hudson. In 2013, Regan was the recipient of the Hudson Community First Youth Advocate Award.

Regan has also coached high school and middle school girl’s lacrosse for Hudson City Schools and swimming for Redwood Swim Club. She lives in Northfield with her husband J.P., a 2007 Walsh Jesuit graduate.
