  • Long-term Substitute - Visual Art Faculty

    Walsh Jesuit High School seeks a long-term substitute teacher to join its Fine Arts Department from mid-March through May 2019 to cover a leave of absence. The primary focus of this position will be covering five sections of Art classes, grade levels 9 through 12, and one duty period. Specific classes to be taught include: Art Foundations, Drawing 1 & 2 and Sculpture.

    The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or post-graduate work in Fine Arts or a related field, a valid Ohio teaching license, and will embrace and display Catholic/Christian values and spiritual life. Experience in a Catholic learning environment and/or prior high school teaching experience is preferred.

The primary focus of this position will be covering five sections of English Literature classes, grade levels 10 and 11, and one duty period. Specific classes to be taught include: American Literature and Honors British Literature.

    The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or post graduate work in English/Language Arts or a related field and a valid Ohio teaching license and will also embrace and display Catholic/Christian values and spiritual life. A solid working knowledge of technology in curriculum design and classroom presentation is also required. Experience in a Catholic learning environment and/or prior high school teaching experience is preferred.
