Camino Scholars Program
Walsh Jesuit is pleased to introduce the Camino Scholars Program, a new academic pathway designed to help students intentionally discern their God-given gifts, passions, and future goals through specialized coursework, reflection, service, and independent study.
Rooted in Jesuit values and the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, Camino Scholars will explore one of four pathways:
- Sustainability
- Health and Medical Sciences
- Global Scholars
- Engineering
Students in the Camino Scholars Program will develop strong discernment skills, ethical leadership, and preparation for post-secondary success.
Intentional MAGIS Period
Reflecting a distinctly Jesuit commitment to educating the whole person, the Magis provides dedicated time for reflection, mentorship, spiritual growth, academic support, leadership development, and the exploration of personal interests.
Just as importantly, it creates meaningful opportunities for students to build relationships with peers, faculty, and staff, fostering a stronger sense of connection and belonging within the Walsh Jesuit community.
Through these experiences, students are challenged to move beyond academic achievement and engage more deeply in their personal, intellectual, and spiritual formation.
The Magis is an intentional space for students to discover and develop their gifts and discern how they are called to use those gifts in service to God and others.
