  • Mr. Thomas J. Haag '81, Chairman

    Tom is Walsh Jesuit graduate from the Class of ’81, now married for 25 years to Toni with four children, all graduates (or future graduates) of WJHS.  Tom and his family have lived in the local community for their entire lives.  Professionally, Tom has worked in leadership of local manufacturing while managing global markets for SGS Tool Company now known as Kyocera SGS Precision Tools of Kyoto, Japan. 

    Tom is passionate about educational opportunities for both pre-career and professional development.  He respects the Divine, and loves people.

  • Mr. Mark Anzelc

    Mark Anzelc is the Global Vice President of Supply Chain for Parker Hannifin’s Motion Systems Group. In this role, he leads a global team of professionals responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution in procurement, planning, logistics, and customer experience. Prior to this, he held executive positions at General Electric, Lucas Industries, and other leading companies. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. He also holds a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University supplemented by extensive executive development. Mark is active in community service as a volunteer, donor, and board member.
  • Mr. Ric Boggs

    Ric is the President and owner of Gill Podiatry Supply Co.   He and his wife Karen reside in Hinckley.  They are the proud parents of Taylor '14,  Brennan '18, and Nathan '21.   Ric earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.  He is actively involved at St. Albert the Great Parish and school where he currently serves on their Finance Council.

    Karl is a native Clevelander and is the eleventh President of Walsh Jesuit High School. Prior to his position at Walsh Jesuit, he served as president/principal of Cleveland Central Catholic High School, and he worked for 21 years at St. Ignatius High School in a variety of positions, including teaching, coaching and as an administrator, Vice president for Mission. He earned his B.A. in English from Borromeo College and his M.A. in Religious Studies from John Carroll University, and has done post-graduate work at many of the Jesuit colleges and universities. Karl has a passion for Jesuit education, and speaks often on the topic of the Spiritual Exercises. He is an avid sports fan and loves to bike, coach and officiate.
  • Ms. Maripat Klein Pacino

    Maripat was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio and attended Cardinal Mooney High School and the University of Toledo School of Pharmacy.

    She has practiced pharmacy in the states of Ohio and California and currently is self-employed as a consultant Pharmacist.  Maripat lives in Hudson with her 4 kids, Drew (‘14), Hannah (‘15), Luke (‘19) and Mitchell (‘21).

    Craig is a partner in Stark & Knoll’s Business Services Group. For over 30 years, Craig has represented many Northeast Ohio businesses with growth and acquisition strategies, mergers and acquisitions and day-to-day business and legal counsel to management and owners.
  • Mrs. Theresa Mistysyn

  • Mr. Theodore Paynter '94

    Ted is a proud graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School class of 1994. He also graduated from Walsh University with degrees in Communications and Political Science. Ted has worked in Marketing and Advertising Communications for nearly 22 years and is currently the Director of Operations for Clum Creative, a video production and creative marketing agency in Cleveland, Ohio.  He has been serving on the Walsh Jesuit Marketing Committee for the past six years.

    Ted has been married to his wife Lisa for 21 years and has two grown step-sons.  He also serves on the board for the North Canton Playhouse, a community theater, where he has served in various capacities for 20+ years. After gaining an appreciation for the performing arts in several high school drama productions (at WJHS and Our Lady of the Elms), he and his wife later met doing a community theater production and to this day are both deeply involved in theater arts.
  • Rev. Donald J. Petkash, S.J.

    Fr. Don Petkash entered the Jesuits in 1958, following graduation from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland. After ordination in 1971, he taught at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School for nine years and at St. Ignatius High School for eleven years. In 1991 he was appointed superior of the Jesuit community at Walsh Jesuit High School and in 1992 was named President of the school. He served in that role until 2003. He later served five years as the Provincial Assistant for Secondary Education in the Detroit Province of the Society of Jesus, before returning to Walsh Jesuit in 2009 to serve as Vice-President for Mission and Identity.
  • Rev. Thomas J. Pipp, S.J.

    Rev. Thomas Pipp, S.J., graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1979.  Afterward he served for two years as Jesuit volunteer in Newark, NJ, and then entered the Society of Jesus in 1981; he was ordained in 1992.  For most of his Jesuit life (1985-1988; 1992-2009), Tom was missioned to St. John’s Jesuit High School in Toledo, Ohio, where he served in a variety of positions, including superior of the Jesuit community, vice-president for Jesuit Identity, director of campus ministry and acting president.  From 2010-2017, he was director of novices for the Chicago-Detroit and Wisconsin Provinces at the Jesuit Novitiate in St. Paul, MN.  He serves as superior of the Jesuit community and director of Ignatian formation at John Carroll University.  As a Jesuit, Tom obtained an MA in English from Northwestern University and two degrees in theology from the (former) Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California.  In the fall of 2020, he was asked to become acting director of the Ignatian Spirituality Institute at John Carroll; he does so with enthusiasm for this long standing good work at JCU.

  • Mr. Manav (Manu) Raj '88

    Manu is a proud graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School, The Ohio State University, and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

    Manu has practiced Law in Northeast Ohio courts for over 20 years exclusively in the area of domestic relations and family and juvenile law. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan, Lake and Geauga Counties Bar Associations.

    In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Raj is a Family Law Mediator and is trained in both Collaborative Practice and Principled Negotiation methods of alternate dispute resolution. Mr. Raj is a founding member and past President (2004) of The Center for Principled Family Advocacy and a Founder and current member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals. 

    Manu is a Life Member of the Who's Who of Distinguished Lawyers of America, and is regularly selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer of Ohio. In 2011 Manu was identified as an AV "Preeminent" Lawyer through the Peer Review Rating System of Martindale- Hubbell. The "AV Rating" is the highest possible rating used to identify attorneys as to both their legal ability and ethical standards.

    Mr. Raj has been an active presenter at seminars on all topics related to domestic relations and juvenile law throughout the country.
  • Mr. R. James Rollins

    Jim lives in Richfield  with his wife Amy and 3 children Ryan '14, Alex '16, and Olivia.  Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Exit Planning Advisor. He is the President of the Assurance and Tax Practice group at Meaden & Moore a regional public accounting firm.  Jim has over 25 years of public accounting experience with a focus on Closely Held or Family Owned businesses and Private Equity . Jim has served Walsh Jesuit on the Finance Committee since 2014.
  • Mr. Albert Romanini '91

    Al lives in Chagrin Falls with his wife Lisa whom he met at a Walsh Jesuit football game during his Senior year.  They have four children, one Walsh Jesuit grad, two current students and hopefully one future Warrior – Allisa ‘17, Anthony ‘20, Abigail ‘22 and Allison.  Al and his family are members of St Joan of Arc Parish in Chagrin Falls. Al graduated from WJ in 1991 and went on to graduate from John Carroll University with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. 

    Already working for the family business part time, Al joined Willoughby Supply full time upon graduation.  Currently Al is the Vice President of Ohio Region at SRS Distribution, DBA Willoughby Supply.  Al was President & CEO of Willoughby Supply when the business joined SRS in December 2017.  Al serves on the Board of Directors and is a ReStore volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Lake-Geauga County, Ohio. He is also a Board member of Geauga County Bluecoats, a charitable foundation that provides support for families of safety forces who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

    Mr. Vaughn is a Mathematics and Physics teacher at Walsh Jesuit (since 2012). Previously, he worked 19 years for BP in a variety of engineering and oil trading roles in four countries.

    He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA form Bowling Green State University. He and his wife, Aletha, live in Canton. Mr. Vaughn joined the Board in 2018.
