Pre-HSPT Study Course

This may be your student's first experience with standardized testing that has consequences to his/her performance.  In this class, students will learn important guessing and time management strategies as well as content review and how to manage common test anxiety.  Additionally, students will receive a 600-page HSPT test taking manual, HSPT practice test, and helpful study guides.  There is a $60 fee for this class.  Please bring cash or a check payable to Rose-Marie Janesz.

Date: Saturday, April 6, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon

7th Grade Practice Exams

The Practice Entrance Exam offers 7th grade students insight and experience on the HSPT (High School Placement Test). This exam is taken once a season. Students may select one Spring date.
 
Calculators are not permitted.

Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the information session during the exam. Topics discussed include: tuition assistance, scholarship opportunities, admissions timeline, application process, 9th grade curriculum, and WJ's mission & tradition.

There is a $20 exam fee, payable on the day of the test - Cash or Check made payable to Walsh Jesuit High School.

SPRING DATES: May 4 and May 11.  

8th Grade Entrance Exams

The initial step for an 8th grade student wishing to apply to Walsh Jesuit is to take an entrance exam. WJ uses an exam called the HSPT (High School Placement Test) as part of the admissions process. Register online for one of the available test dates.
