More importantly, he is a remarkable person and dear friend to so many. Yassir is also a fierce competitor with an outstanding mound presence and a real passion for the game. He has an excellent grasp of his craft, he is very consistent, and he possesses tremendous control. The career he has already had for us is special, we are so fortunate to have him back for one more year, and I am thrilled he will play at the Division I level for such a good program under Coach Mee at Toledo.” According to Kahook, playing college baseball has always been one of his goals. "It has been an absolute honor to be part of the Walsh Jesuit Baseball program that has had so many great teams and players over the years.
