Rebounding Key in Walsh Jesuit's 48-34 Win Over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin
The Walsh Jesuit women's basketball team jumped out to a 13-4 lead after one stanza over visiting Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin and never looked back, posting a 48-34 win Saturday.
The Warriors outrebounded the Lions 38-19 with Alaina Alessio grabbing 12, Halle Rogers snaring nine and Katie Clark adding eight.
Clark led WJ in scoring with a game-high 16 points while Sloane Sapp tossed in nine to help the effort.
The win moved the Warriors to 6-3 in North Coast League play.
