Women’s Swim Team Undefeated in Dual Meets This Season

The Walsh Jesuit women’s swimming team finished the season undefeated in dual meet action winning its last match of the season against Wooster High School 124-55 on January 27 at the Kent Roosevelt High School pool.
First place finishes for the women included Hanna Gresser, 100-yard (54.14) and 200-yard freestyles (1:57.44), Giovanna Cappabianca, 200-yard individual medley (2:14.69) and 100-yard backstroke (1:04.19), Carly Hart, 50-yard freestyle (24.70) and 100-yard butterfly (59.61), Samantha Moore, 500-yard freestyle (5:41.65) and Maddy Draiss, 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.16) as well as the 200-yard medley relay of Cappabianca, Bryanna Renuart, Mia Telerico, and Draiss (1:55.96), the 200-yard freestyle relay of Hart, Gresser, Renuart, and Murphy Vance (1:41.76) and the 400-yard freestyle relay of Gresser, Vance, Hart, and Emma Kaczmar (3:50.31).
