Walsh Jesuit High School has named Anthony Catanzarite, a 1997 Walsh Jesuit graduate, as its next head coach for the men’s soccer program.
Former head coach, Scott Zackaroff ‘03 recently announced his resignation after nearly a decade with the program as a coach. “I am grateful, humbled and honored to have been entrusted with leading our storied program,” said Zackaroff. “While I relinquish responsibility as head coach, I am confident that my successor will embrace our storied past and strive for continued success.”
Catanzarite ‘97 played for former Walsh Jesuit head coach John Kissner. He was a 3-year letterman and served as team captain his senior year. Catanzarite currently holds a United States Soccer “D” license and coaches several youth teams for Cleveland Futbol Club.
“I am thrilled to be able to return home to Walsh Jesuit and continue to build upon the great Men’s Soccer legacy established by the coaches before me. Walsh Jesuit has always been a special place for me and my family and I could not be more fortunate to have the opportunity to represent this great school and the players in this program,” said Catanzarite.
Coach Catanzarite is employed as an attorney for Reminger Co., L.P.A. and is the Chair of their Sports and Entertainment Practice Group.
