Singing, dancing, song trivia, and class competitions took place at a pep rally where Walsh Jesuit students, faculty, and staff celebrated Black History Month. This year's assembly focused on the musical contributions of the African Americans.
Students Noel Bentley ’20 and Vince Rizzo ’19, organized the event under the guidance of Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Kaneshia Crenshaw. Students, faculty and staff joined together in the Dome, marking the beginning of Black History Month. Towels with the words STAND SPEAK SHOW were handed out to attendees who waved them in solidarity signifying their support of a diverse and inclusive Walsh Jesuit community.
