Elementary School Dual Credit Partnership Overview
Walsh Jesuit High School will provide elementary school 7th and 8th grade students in advanced math classes, the opportunity to earn high school and elementary school credit at the same time.
Upon successful completion of course work, students will be issued a Walsh Jesuit transcript.
Courses Offered
Students currently enrolled in the advanced math class may opt into dual credit. A student enrolled in the class is not required to take dual credit.
Grades will be calculated and shared with Walsh Jesuit as a percent (as opposed to a letter grade)
The Walsh Jesuit grading scale and GPA equivalents will be used for granting high school credit. Grade earned will not impact the cumulative GPA average of students choosing to enroll at Walsh Jesuit High School.
Upon completion of each semester, families can request their Walsh Jesuit high school transcript from the Registrar
Students on service plans are welcome to participate in the dual credit program. All accommodations will be honored. Modifications will need to be discussed and approved by Walsh Jesuit.
