Representatives from the financial aid office will have a table at the event to answer any questions about tuition and financial aid. You can bring your EdChoice application/renewal form along with a utility bill sent within the last 90 days. These forms can be turned in in a sealed envelope with the student's first and last name. Walsh Jesuit is a participant in Ohio's education program, the Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program. On Monday, June 30, 2025, Gov. Dewine approved the state of Ohio's spending bill, securing the EdChoice Scholarship program for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 fiscal years. There are two different types of scholarship types:
The EdChoice "Traditional" - This scholarship is awarded to fgamilies who live in a qualifying school district, and the award amount is $8408. All qualifying school districts for the 2026-27 school year can be found here. The qualifying school districts closest to Walsh Jesuit are Akron PSD, Ravenna SD, and Bedford SD.
The EdChoice "Expansion" - Any family that does not live in a qualifying school district is eligible for an EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.
Applications should be submitted ASAP, but no later than April 30, 2026, for the scholarship to be applied to your tuition account in a timely manner.

NEW EdChoice Scholarship Applications
If your student did NOT receive an EdChoice award in 2025-26, you will need to complete an EdChoice Request Form 2026-27.
An Acceptable Proof of Address for Scholarship Programs must be submitted with the application. The most common form of proof of address is a current (within 90 days) utility bill. This bill must show BOTH mailing and service address (usually found on the remittance slip) the same.
The application, with attached Proof of Address, needs to be submitted to the WJ Business Office or emailed to edchoice@walshjesuit.org.
Applications should be submitted ASAP, but no later than April 30, 2026, for the scholarship to be applied to your tuition account in a timely manner.
New applications require Income verification on the Ohio Department of Education Website in addition to the application and proof of address.
All families who have applied for an Ohio EdChoice Scholarship are also invited to complete an application seeking additional financial assistance directly from Walsh Jesuit. This application, which is facilitated for Walsh Jesuit through our partnership with FACTS management company, must be completed annually by any Walsh Jesuit family seeking financial assistance. Families must complete Ohio EdChoice in order to be eligible for financial aid consideration from Walsh Jesuit.
