Center for Design and Innovation
The Center for Design and Innovation reflects Walsh Jesuit's commitment to preparing students for an ever-evolving world through hands-on, innovative learning. Inspired by the school's strategic vision and shaped through collaboration with Jesuit and local partner schools, the Center was thoughtfully designed to support a curriculum focused on creativity, problem-solving, and engineering design.
Since opening in 2022 alongside the required Design & Innovation I course for freshmen, the Center has continued to grow. A 2024 expansion doubled the learning space, creating dedicated areas for design and fabrication while providing additional workstations for interdisciplinary projects across the curriculum.
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the Center for Design and Innovation empowers students to think critically, explore boldly, and develop the habits of intellectual inquiry that prepare them to lead and serve in a rapidly changing world.
