Admissions Exam

Admissions Exam (HSPT)

Walsh Jesuit administers only the HSPT exam for application and scholarship consideration for 8th grade students. This ensures that all results are aligned with the same version of the test used for admissions decisions.

To maintain consistency and accuracy in both admissions and course placement, Walsh Jesuit relies exclusively on the official HSPT.

Pre-HSPT Study Course

This may be your student’s first experience with a standardized test that carries meaningful impact on future academic opportunities.

In this course, students will learn essential test-taking strategies including time management, educated guessing, and techniques to reduce common test anxiety, alongside targeted content review across all sections of the exam. Students will receive an 850-page HSPT test preparation manual, comprehensive study guides, flashcards, and a full-length HSPT practice test with a detailed score report.

Stay tuned for future Skills Classes being offered this fall!
