Food Drive A Success

Thanks to the support of the Walsh Jesuit community, Campus Ministry, the student body, and the Alberty Family Foundation, Walsh Jesuit packaged and distributed 300 boxes of food to families in need today.  Through the generous donations of our student body, employees, the community, and The Alberty Family Foundation, families received a ham, canned vegetables, peanut butter, bread, milk, canned fruit, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes and much more.

Throughout the week donations flooded the Rotunda.  Early this morning students were here early and eager to work on their day off from classes.  In preparation of the recipients pick-up time, students were cheerfully assembling and decorating boxes, organizing the donations and decorating the sidewalks.  In an assembly line fashion students then went from station to station filling the boxes.  

A big kudos to Campus Ministry and Advancement who's organization of the event made it seamless and incredibly successful.
