Senior on Team Ohio Wins Hockey National Title

Walsh Jesuit senior, Geremy Davison helped to win the USA Hockey Tier II 18U National Title as a member of Team Ohio Hockey.
“Being part of this team and winning the National Championship has shown me that working hard and being dedicated can enable a person to achieve a goal. We started the year with Nationals as a goal and worked hard to achieve it. It has also shown me the importance of team work,” commented Davison.

Davison has been playing hockey since he was four-years-old. He has played for Team Ohio since 2016 and has been a member of Walsh Jesuit’s Varsity Hockey team since transferring to the school last year. He received the 2018-2019 MVP award for the Walsh Jesuit Varsity Hockey Team.

Former Walsh Jesuit Hockey Coach Pat McKendry admires Davison’s determination. “"Geremy transformed himself as a player this past season. He became a complete player. I think the growth of his hockey game came from his dedication towards growing as a person first. Geremy learned so much about himself this season, growing and maturing. In my mind it is without question that this growth made him a much better player athletically and thus propelled him to the heights he has reached. We are so proud of Geremy - Walsh Jesuit Varsity Hockey Team MVP, and now National Champion with his travel club Team Ohio."

Davison will attend Miami University in the fall and plans to play on the club hockey team.
