Literature and History Tour to Salem and Boston Area

October 19-22, 2023

This trip is open to all students entering their sophomore year! As you are studying the Puritans and reading The Crucible in your English 2 class, take the long weekend in October to explore the historical sites in the Salem and Boston areas where this all took place. Check out the itinerary to see how we visit Plymouth Plantation, the site of the Mayflower II, the Salem Witch Museum, Marblehead, Lexington, Concord, the Minute Man Museum, Walden Pond, the Old Manse, Louisa May Alcott’s home, the Old North Church, Quincy Market, and so much more without missing a day of school. Do not miss out on experiencing firsthand what you have learned in the classroom!

The cost for the trip is $642 to be billed to your Walsh Jesuit F.A.C.T.S. account. Optional (but strongly recommend by the travel agency) is the cancel for any reason insurance option that can be separately purchased through the travel agency. Further information about purchasing insurance will be available to those who sign up for the trip. Please note that if you opt in for insurance, you will have an additional charge for this trip.

Deadline to sign up is September 1 or when the trip fills to 84 students.

Students may email their completed permission forms to Mrs. Elliott during the summer or drop off printed permission forms to Mrs. Elliott during the first weeks of school. Turning in the permission form means that you are signing up for the trip and your F.A.C.T.S. account will be charged for the full cost of the trip.

Any questions please email Mrs. Emily Elliott (elliotte@walshjesuit.org).
