  • William A. Walsh Christian Service Award

William A. Walsh was a long-time friend to the Walsh Jesuit community. Mr. Walsh held a special affinity for the Jesuits and demonstrated a great interest in their work of educating young men and women. This interest developed into a commitment to making Jesuit education in this area a reality by rallying support for the building of this school.  Throughout his life, Mr. Walsh remained a friend and benefactor of the Walsh Jesuit community, always eager to support efforts that benefitted the lives of others, whether through financial assistance, or more importantly, through the gift of his time and his willingness to lend a hand.

The William A. Walsh Christian Service Award is presented annually to “one male and one female student who have given of their time, initiative, and energy in the service of others within the school community and the community at-large.”

From the Class of 2023, this year's recipients are Alexandra Lubinski and Charles Snow.
As a Christ-centered community, we strive to be Men and Women for and with Others.
