Walsh Jesuit offers a multitude of opportunities for creative expression - both academically & after school - to study, explore and perfect a passion for fine arts, vocal music, instrumental music and theatre.
Whether you're planning to play in the concert band or audition for a CenterStage Theatre production, you will find a welcoming and encouraging community at Walsh Jesuit to help you unleash your potential and further your talents.
The Visual Arts department fosters an environment of creativity and aesthetic growth. Students begin with Art Foundations, where they explore a variety of mediums & techniques.
Students then have the opportunity to choose courses in Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Honors Art & Independent Study. Visual Arts courses broaden artistic awareness, and catalyzes the discovery of a unique form of self-expression.
In addition to classes, the Walsh Jesuit Art Club meets weekly and is open to all interested students. The purpose of the club is to engage with a group of open-minded, creative individuals to benefit the larger community.
