Walsh Jesuit Announces New Admissions Team
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH August 24, 2018 —Walsh Jesuit High School announces Jason Ruegg as the Director of Enrollment Management and Bill Beard as the Director of Admissions.

Ruegg is an alumnus of Walsh Jesuit’s class of 1996, and served most recently as the school’s Director of Alumni Relations. Prior to working at Walsh Jesuit, Ruegg  also has 15 years of experience in operations management, quality review and customer experience at Allstate Insurance Company and Medical Mutual of Ohio. He holds a BA in Business and Organizational Communication and an MBA, and has experience in strategic planning and customer relations; both are areas that he will focus on in his new capacity in the Walsh Jesuit Admissions Department. During his time as Director of Alumni Relations, his primary focus was on increasing engagement within the alumni community through programming and events, while also working to grow the level of financial support that alumni provide to the school’s many programs and philanthropic funds. He and his wife Melissa live in Cuyahoga Falls with their four children.

Beard is a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and Princeton University. He has served in the admissions area for 14 years, first at University School in Hunting Valley and most recently served as Admissions Coordinator at St. Francis de Sales School in Toledo. Serving as a secondary school administrator, Beard helped to significantly increase enrollment at both schools. Additionally, Beard has coached both hockey and baseball, is a member of the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017, and will bring that experience to Walsh Jesuit’s athletic program as a member of the coaching staff for the Warriors’ hockey team. He and his wife Courtney are excited to return to Northeast Ohio.

“We are excited to have our new admissions team in place and feel strongly that Jason and Bill will bring energy and expertise to Walsh Jesuit’s admissions department,” said Walsh Jesuit High School President, Karl Ertle.
