Warriors Win Shupe Tournament With Overtime Victory
Steven LeVasseur came up big in overtime against Rocky River, scoring the winning goal as Walsh Jesuit got by the Pirates 2-1 to capture the Shupe Tournament title.
Gavin Davison orchestrated one of the tournament-winning assists. He worked the puck from behind the net on one side to Miotke down low who was stopped but forced the puck up and out the other side for LeVasseur, scoring from beneath the slot hash.
The Warriors had advanced to the final by downing Rocky River earlier, 3-1, as LeVasseur scored a pair of goals.
