Walsh Jesuit High School, founded in 1964, and opened its doors with 153 young men on September 7, 1965, is a four-year, co-educational, Jesuit college preparatory school rooted in the Jesuit tradition - a tradition that is essential to our success in cultivating graduates who are religious, loving, intellectually competent, open to growth, and committed to doing justice.  
The school enrolls more than 1,100 students from an eight-county area and more than 80 middle and parochial schools. Located in close proximity to Akron, Cuyahoga Falls is a suburban, residential community of 50,000. The campus occupies over 100 acres. Admission to Walsh Jesuit High School is selective and based on a student’s potential to perform college preparatory work.
In order to ensure that a Walsh Jesuit education remains a possibility for students from a wide spectrum of economic backgrounds, we will continue to provide 1.5 million dollars in tuition assistance to families with demonstrated need. Now in its sixth year, the Emmaus Program helps to provide full tuition sponsorship for over 18 students.
