Fall Production will be a true "studio" audience

The Walsh Jesuit High School CenterStage Theatre presents their Fall dramatic production, “War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast.”
Show times are as follows:
November 14 at 7:00 p.m.
November 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m.
November 16 and 17 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are only $10 for adults, and $7.00 for students and Senior Citizens. There will be a $5.00 preview show on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m.  All the shows will be held in the WJ Theater at the school, 4550 Wyoga Lake Road in Cuyahoga Falls.

The show is a play within a play and is set in a radio broadcast studio. Adapted for the stage by Joe Landry, the actors are recreating the famous broadcast that gripped the nation in 1938, but 10 years after the fact.

Director David Banks sees this show as a unique opportunity to remind everyone what can happen when fake news, even in the form of a staged radio play, is set upon the public. The audience will be a true “studio” audience, and commercials, sound effects and music will be live!
