About the Warrior Fund

Each year, more than 1,000 young men and women are enriched by our Walsh Jesuit traditions, our call to serve others, our mission to develop competence, conscience and compassion within our graduates and our rigorous college preparatory curriculum.  We are inspired by the 475 year educational tradition of the Society of Jesus, which is rooted in St. Ignatius of Loyola's transforming encounter with God's love and grace.

Our students are provided with the academic skills and moral compass needed to live rightly in our ever changing world.  To graduate men and women for others is our mission and to make a Walsh Jesuit educational experience available to all who are qualified is our objective.  Your contribution to the Walsh Jesuit Warrior Fund helps us to carry our mission forward and continues our tradition of graduating men and women for others who will make a difference in our world.

The Warrior Fund helps the school meet the tuition gap. Walsh Jesuit's tuition is well below the annual cost to educate each student. It is through the generosity of Walsh Jesuit’s Warrior Fund donors that the school is able to meet the ongoing challenges of increasing operational and facility maintenance costs. Walsh Jesuit is dependent on the Warrior Fund to help defray the cost of providing tuition assistance, while minimizing annual tuition rates, and to supplement operating expenses throughout the year. Ultimately, it is this generosity that allows the school to continue its legacy of developing "Men and Women for Others."

The Warrior Fund FAQs

List of 13 frequently asked questions.

  • Q: What is the Warrior Fund?

The Warrior Fund is Walsh Jesuit’s annual campaign to support the school. The funds raised through the Warrior fund help to offset the difference between the actual cost of a Walsh Jesuit education and the amount parents are charged for tuition. Gifts to the Warrior Fund benefit all current students.
  • Q: Why not just charge full tuition?

We seek to partner with our alumni, Walsh Jesuit supporters and friends as well as our current and past parents so that we have sufficient resources available. Warrior Fund contributions help us keep a Walsh Jesuit experience affordable and attainable to as many academically qualified students as possible. This is why we encourage families to understand our need, and help offset the tuition shortfall by considering a Challenge gift of $1,000.
  • Q: Is my gift to the Athletic Booster Club of the Performing and Fine Arts Booster Club part of the Warrior Fund?

No, gifts to the booster clubs are gifts to support the activities of the club which helps to provide support for athletic and arts activities that are not a part of the school’s annual operating budget and therefore not a part of the Warrior fund.
