- Sr. Helen Prejean, C.S.J., Dead Man Walking

"Before I had asked God to right the wrongs and comfort the suffering. Now I know - really know - that God entrusts those tasks to us."
Men and Women Organized for Ministry to the Suffering, with the help of the Walsh Jesuit community, has served families, faculty, and staff by confidentially providing meals, groceries, restaurant certificates, gas gift cards, dental care, uniform shirts, clothing, and athletic equipment during times of crisis.

If you or someone you know needs help with school supplies, yearbooks, parking passes, or maybe even tickets or fees for Walsh Jesuit athletic events, dances, or retreats, please notify one of the coordinators. Our mission is to reach out and provide support when an illness, hospitalization, unemployment, or other hardship creates a burden.

M.O.M.S. is not a fund-raising entity; instead we rely on donations from the Walsh Jesuit Community. Cash, gift certificates, or discounted services that will accommodate future needs of our families can be sent to the Dean of Student's Office, attention M.O.M.S.

Contact Sue Figler or Karen Hudock if you have any questions, would like to help our ministry, or want to make a donation to help a member of the Walsh Jesuit community.
