To the Moms of WJ and Aunt B,
With the close of the year upon us, I'd like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you whose continued selfless giving has made this another outstanding year! Mothers' Club provides behind the scenes warmth that enhances the nurturing environment that is WJ. Our committees tackle everything from cleaning the Chapel to beautifying the grounds, stuffing envelopes, organizing cookie distribution, and making our Seniors feel special during Senior Week. We host receptions after masses and recognition events, provide refreshments at parent/teacher conferences and open houses, and even bring the staff and faculty together numerous times for the much appreciated Faculty/Staff lunches. Countless hours of creativity and effort are poured into favorite events such as Holiday Buffet, Lenten Reflection and Spring Brunch, not to mention POWWOW. The Mothers' Club Book Sale brings the WJ community together by enabling families, students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to browse selections and pick up a bargain! We even provide dinners to the Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars. I have had the privilege of working with the committee chairs of the Mothers' Club Board and I applaud their tireless efforts for coordinating over 40 events and activities. These events could not have taken place without the numerous volunteers each committee depended upon to serve the mission of our group. All of your efforts make Walsh Jesuit the special place that it is. Thank you.
With Gratitude,
Carol Bachmann, President
