The Warrior Fund

The Fund For Walsh Jesuit

The Walsh Jesuit Warrior Fund is our yearly (July 1 – June 30) effort to increase financial support for a wide range of programs that help Walsh Jesuit continue in its mission – to form young men and women to become “Women and Men for and with Others.”

Give to WJ

A gift to the Walsh Jesuit Warrior Fund helps to fund the challenge ($1,000) between tuition and the actual costs of providing the Walsh Jesuit experience to each student. Here are a few examples of how your gift to the Walsh Jesuit Annual Fund can help in a very meaningful way.

  • Maintaining the physical campus
  • Enhancing the physical, academic, and spiritual needs of the campus
  • Financial assistance
  • Tuition cost controls

Additionally, gifts to the Walsh Jesuit Warrior Fund help support the Financial Aid program. Each year, approximately 30% of students will need financial assistance to attend Walsh Jesuit. In the most recent school year, the school awarded $1.7 million to those students and families with demonstrated need, guaranteeing no qualified applicant is ever denied enrollment for financial reasons.

All alumni, parents, past parents and friends of the school are asked to make a gift to the Walsh Jesuit Warrior Fund through a variety of solicitation methods including: a personal ask from an Advancement Office staff member; a direct mail letter; a phone call from an alumnus, parent or student; or electronic media.

Every gift counts - gifts of all sizes are welcome. You can participate at a level that is comfortable for you, and it does not take a huge donation to have a big impact. When taken together, gifts to Walsh Jesuit’s Warrior Fund create one of the school’s most significant sources of support. Because Annual Fund gifts are typically unrestricted, they can be directed to areas with the greatest need — and the greatest potential for impact. Each gift, regardless of size, strengthens the school's participation rate and demonstrates a vote of confidence in a Jesuit education.
