A school record led off Saturday’s festivities as the quartet of Lauren Heller, Danielle Margheret, Lauren Tullis, and Alyssa Heller swam a blistering 1:47.35 to place sixth and claim a step on the awards stand. Their efforts broke the previous school record time of 1:47.62, set by the same team at last week’s district meet. Lauren Heller followed with two addition podium worthy performances by placing fourth in the 200 yard freestyle and fifth in the 100 yard freestyle. February 16, 2013 – The Maroon and Gold scored 171 points to place third at the Division I Northeast District Swimming and Diving Championships this past weekend. Held at the Robert F. All totaled the Warriors won two individual titles, set five school records, and earned five automatic qualifying spots and one at-large spot to qualify four swimmers and one diver to next weekend’s state meet competition.
