April 16th: Achillis Hilltoper Invitational Results

48 hours after the conclusion of the Achillis Hilltopper Invitational at Chardon HS last Saturday, the announcement was made that the Walsh Jesuit girls were the actual meet champions. The meet originally concluded with Geneva scoring 2 more points than WJ (132/130) but following a clerical error in the Shot Put, the Warriors actually took the top spot over Geneva by a mere point (131/130) to emerge as the Champion of the 11 team invitational.

WJ boasted 3 individual event winners; Sophomores Allie Stern - 100m Hurdles (16.41) and Evelyn Masturzo – Long Jump (15’5 ½”) and Senior Heidi Lewis – Shot Put (38’5 ½”)
