Sports participation, for many students, is an important part of the high school experience. At Walsh Jesuit, we recognize this and believe being part of a team has numerous benefits, including increasing self-confidence, building leadership skills, and forging new friendships.
The young men and women enrolled at Walsh Jesuit have numerous opportunities to participate in a first-class athletic program. In fact, there are 14 varsity sports for men and 12 varsity sports for women.
The school's 110-acre campus features beautifully maintained outdoor fields for football, baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, track, soccer, and a 5,000-meter cross country track while the school facility houses a 1,600-seat gymnasium, a field house, and a wrestling room.
Walsh Jesuit is extremely proud of its athletic success, which includes amassing 38 state championships and seven national championships since the school opened its doors in 1965. In addition, Walsh Jesuit made OHSAA history in 2004 by becoming the first high school in the state to capture baseball and softball championships in the same year!
