PFAB Scholarship Information
The Performing and Fine Arts Booster Club once again is offering three $1,000 Walsh Jesuit High School tuition scholarships for current seniors. The scholarship will be awarded to the students who best exemplify commitment and dedication to furthering the arts at Walsh Jesuit.
Interested students should submit their applications no later than December 3, 2012.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee, comprised of one member of the Walsh Jesuit Board of Trustees, one alumni parent, and a community representative involved in the Arts. No current PFAB or Walsh Jesuit parent will be involved in the selection process. Selections will be made by December 31, 2012.

Applicant Requirements
• Available to Walsh Jesuit graduating seniors
• 3.0 minimum GPA at the end of the sixth semester*
• Participation in PFAB at Walsh Jesuit**
• Completion of service requirements***
• Completion of student's PFAB resume
• Completion of essay question
* GPA to be confirmed by Director of College Guidance
** Participation to be confirmed by PFAB Department
*** Service requirements to be confirmed by Director of Christian Service
Three-Step Application Process
STEP NO. 1: Student Resume

On the resume, list in detail ALL your participation (from ticket taker to soloist, artist to musician, leadership position to committee member, and everything in between); the number of years you participated; and any special recognition, awards, or honors received in the fine and performing arts at Walsh Jesuit. NO PORTFOLIOS OR OTHER MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Complete the resume and save the completed document to your computer or flash drive before continuing.
STEP NO. 2: Student Essay
In 500 words or less, address the following prompt:
Choose one of the "Grad at Grad" characteristics (open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice) and describe how your involvement with the WJHS performing and fine arts has impacted your growth in this area.
Style requirements:
MLA style, Times New Roman font, 12 point
Write your essay and save the document to your computer or flash drive before proceeding to step three.
