LEGENDS GOLF OUTING

Over the past 30 years, the original Alumni Golf Outing was initiated to gather alumni once a year for 18 holes of friendship and fun. As the number of annual golfers grew, so did their interest in channeling the outing's profits to help a deserving student attend Walsh Jesuit.

Upon the passing of longtime teacher, coach, and administrator Joe Benes in 1993, the outing was renamed in Joe's honor. With the recent passing of many long-time Walsh Jesuit "legends,' the Alumni Office, in conjunction with the Benes Family, have renamed the annual outing to honor the memories of the school's pioneering legends – Joe Benes, Bill Ricco, Fr. Clem Metzger, Fr. Pat Hussey (just to name a few).
