Our shadow program, named Warrior for a Day, helps prospective students in Grade 8 learn what it means to be a Walsh Warrior by spending a school day with a Walsh Jesuit freshman or sophomore.
Visitors should arrive at the Admissions Office (located right off of the Commons) at 7:45 a.m. and will finish their day at 2:40 p.m. Parents may pick their students up at the Admissions Office. Parents who wish to remain for a tour of the school in the morning should please contact the Director of Admissions, Mr. Rob Eubank ’85 at 330.929.4205, ext 103 or email@example.com.
Visitors should wear shoes that are not sneakers, pants that are neither jeans nor cargo, and a polo style collared shirt. The admissions office will provide lunch on visitation day.
Families are encouraged to register for the Warrior for a Day program at least 48 hours in advance. However, in an effort to maintain appropriate class sizes, Walsh Jesuit will only accommodate up to 30 student visitors per day. Please refer to the list of black-out dates listed below. To register for a shadow day, 8th grade students may sign up online or call Mrs. Jennifer Clair in the Admissions Office at 330.929.4205 ext 153
* 7th grade students are given the opportunity to shadow any time after President’s Day, 2016 through the end of the school year. Online registration for 7th grade shadow days will be activated in January, 2016.
** Current high school students who wish to shadow must first submit a transfer student application to Walsh Jesuit High School. The Director of Admissions will contact you to schedule a shadow visitation day after receiving a completed transfer student admissions application.
